Description

Gear Motor Actuator (WI-29) – Direct Replacement Power

This is the heavy-duty 12-pound thrust actuator you need for Gator-Jaws and most original latches from the 1960s onward. It’s built to trip those latches reliably, season after season. With 7/8” of travel, it’s the correct unit for power door locks, trunk releases, and hood latches.

You get a full 12 pounds of push and pull force. The unit reverses polarity to work in both directions, making it ideal for lock/unlock applications. For power door locks, remember you’ll need a polarity reversing module (like our #L07W-25) to operate it correctly from your keyless entry or alarm.

Mounting and connection hardware is included in the box. The actuator body measures 5” L x 2” H x 1” D. It’s a straightforward, powerful component built for a specific job. At $29.70, it’s the cost-effective solution to get your power latching system working right.

Fits: Gator-Jaws systems, many original latches (post-1960).
Use For: Automotive door locks, trunk latches, hood releases.
Note: Requires reversing module for standard two-wire door lock setups.
