Description
Abora Auto Parts RFID Push Button Start Kit (WI-75)
Price: $383.90
Ditch the old key. This isn’t just a fancy button; it’s a complete, high-security ignition system for your hot rod or custom build. We run these in our own shop trucks. It’s reliable, clean-looking, and gives you control over how your vehicle starts.
How It Works – Straight Talk
Mount the stainless 22mm switch in a 7/8″ hole. Wiring is straightforward. Press the button once for ‘ACC’ power. Press and hold it a second time to crank. Release when the engine fires up. The LED ring gives you clear status. One more press shuts everything down. The brain box is compact and tucks away under the dash or in the engine bay.
The RFID Security – Your Three Choices
The RFID fob is your digital key. No bulky key cylinder. Program the system to behave how you want:
- Mode 1 (Maximum Security): The vehicle only runs with the fob nearby. Walk away with the fob and the engine dies. This is the setting we recommend for street-driven vehicles.
- Mode 2 (Standard Security): Need the fob to start, but it will stay running if you drive off without it. Won’t restart without the fob again. Good for controlled environments.
- Mode 3 (Override/Backup): Lost your fob? Use the hidden backup button to enter a code and start the vehicle. Never get locked out.
